HYDERABAD: Pakistan Helpline delegation led by Tasneem Zohra visited National House and held meeting with Ashraf Noonari senior leader of Sindh National Party and discussed issues of Hyderabad. Both agreed to strive jointly to finding solution of the issues facing Hyderabad as it was city of all. Ashraf Noonari said that they wanted to serve citizens without discrimination. He said during MQM rule Sindhi localities were ignored and now vice versa. This difference should come to end, he added. He said Hyderabad city has been turned as Moenjo Daro on basis of political bias. The city of love and breezes has been smelling bad odour. He said SNP and Helpline will hold public meeting in Hyderabad jointly. Tasnim Zohra said corruption was rampant in every department of Hyderabad. City has been turned to heap of garbage and patients cannot get single tablet in government hospitals. She said now it was their duty to fight against social evils and ethnic conspiracies jointly.She said Ashraf Noonari was the only nationalist leader after Saeen G.M.Syed and Bashir Khan Qureshi who has always foiled conspiracies of Sindhi-Muhajir riots.The delegation of Helpline included Syed Farooq Hussain Shah, Muhammad Ali and others.
PETROL CRISIS FAILURE OF FEDERAL GOVT:PEOPLE LABOUR BUREAU
HYDERABAD: Peoples Labour Bureau Sindh senior vice president and president of Hyderabad division Lal Bux Kalhoro has said the failure of federal government has caused many crises with new one of shortage of petrol. He said the government instead of providing facilities to people was increasing their problems due to its wrong policies creating new crisis every month. He said these crises have made life miserable for people. He reminded that despite rigging in 2013 general elections, our Quaid Asif Ali Zardari had accepted the results for sake of democracy and for continuity of democratic dispension and extended all kinds of cooperation with federal government. Despite it the Nawaz government resorted to its previous policies.Today government was remembering use of rental power plants for generation of electricity though N league and judiciary has leveled allegations of corruption on then PPP government and had raised an storm. In that sense the present government will also remember Pak-Iran gas line, he added.
MEMON COMMUNITY PROTEST ON DISCONNECTING POWER SUPPLY OF HOUSING SOCIETY FOR 2 DAYS
HYDERABAD: Memon community has protested against disconnection of electricity of Memon Cooperative Housing Society for 2 days causing enormous difficulties to residents including no power and water supply.In this regard an urgent meeting of community elders and HCCI leaders was held with Hesco officers which was attended by Engineer Muhammad Arif Abu Bakar Memon chairman Memon cooperative housing society, honorary secretary Dr. Muhammad Naeem Wali Muhammad,chief of Memon community Haji Abdul Karim Ganghra convener district police peace committee, Muhammad Aijaz Bawany, Rafiq Jan Muhammad,Haji Muhammad Zakria, Noor Muhammad Punjani, HCCI Hesco committee chiamran nAbdul Sattar Khan, Mahmood Jafri and on behalf of Hesco chief engineer Umed Ali Qureshi, executive engineer Ansari and SDO Makhoom Mudasar. The residents of society men and women had opposed new meters and protested that Hesco had disconnected their power for 2 days without any notice or information. And raised voice against what they said atrocities and blackmailing of Wapda. They told that without electricity they were deprived of water to the extent that there was no water for ablution. Haji Abdul Ganghra said in his address that Memon cooperative housing society was the big society that pays 100% electric bills and such discriminative attitude with such residential colony was groos. He warned that they were compelled to protest in whole city in collaboration with HCCI and can go for shutter down also.The residents of Memon society made appeal to higher authorities to help them get rid of atrocities of Wapda.
LARKANA: A large number of SEPCO employees and workers of Larkana on central protest call given by Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Central Labour Union (PWHECLU) took out a procession and staged sit in against the proposed privatization of power companies.
The rally led by Regional Chairman Nisar Ahmed Shaikh, the rally started from old power house after marching through various routes reached at the Jinnah Bagh chowk, where it turned into the big procession, workers were carrying the banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the illegal of privatization and criticizing on anti employees policies.
Addressing the protesters, Nisar Shaikh and other speakers warned the that government would face a tough resistance, if it executed its plane to privatize the power companies and appoint their favorites illegally.
Nisar Shaikh alleged that whenever Nawaz government comes into power it has ruined the institutions and triggered the crises in country, current crises of oil and electricity is glaring example of his failure policies, now is resorting anti labour policy and going toward privatization which will cause unemployment and other crises, he alleged.
Regional Chairman asked workers to remain united because such moves would fade out themselves. In the past also such moves had been foiled by the unity and discipline of workers, he said.
He expressed concern over the appointments of heads of power companies from private organizations instead of from in service efficient officers which is deplorable act and violation rights, he was determined that all conspiracies and anti labour policies would be foiled with support of poor workers.

LARKANA: Sukkur Police will present final challan of murder case of former Senator and JUI F General Secretary Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro at Anti-Terrorism Court ( ATC) Sukkur on Friday 23rd January 2015, in press statement issued by JUI F spokesman Hameedullah Siyal from Jamia Islamia Madarsa Larkana on Thursday.
Hameedullah Siyal said that Mulana Tariq Mehmood Soomro son of martyred JUI F leader Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro accompanying by lawyers among Advocate Athar Abbas Solangi, Advocate Shabir Ahmed Shar and Iqbal Ahmed Soomro will be at there.

SHIKARPUR: Residential of Ghouspur district Kandhkot@Kashmor’s car thief near Deewan hotel at Shikarpur within the jurisdiction of Lakhi Gate police station here on Wednesday late night.
According to police, a man identified as Noor Hassan Ogahi residential of Ghouspur district Kandhkot@ Kashmor he was coming from Sukkur to Kandhkot@Kashmor and he stayed some time in Shikarpur for eating very famous Falooda of Deewan and he park their XLI car No 761 near Deewan hotel and went to Dewaan hotel with his companion for eating falooda.
After passage of some time who exits from hotel after eating falooda and who saw their car was not present.
They informed to Lakhi Gate police station about their car which was stolen by some unidentified culprits.
Area police registered NC on complaint of Noor Hassan Ogahi, Further police investigation is underway.
Till this news was flashed no clue of car and culprits was reported.
SHIKARPUR: SHO Sturt Ganj police station suspended by SSP Shikarpur for neglect of duty here on Thursday.
According to police, SSP Shikarpur Saqib Ismail Memon suspended to SHO Sturt Ganj police station namely Manzoor Chandio in neglect of duty and appointed new SHO Sturt Ganj police station namely Muhammad Ali Soomro and new SHO assumed charge and started their work.
Neglect of duty will not be tolerated said SSP Shikarpur Saqib Ismail Memon.
