LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has revealed that he had sent a mobile phone message to Javed Hashmi.
Khan said Hashmi had not replied to the message which stated that the Azadi March was part of his (Hashmi’s) struggle.
According to Khan he was not even aware of Hashmi’s grievances, adding that if Javed Hashmi left the party it would not impact the Azadi March.
PTI president Javed Hashmi’s silence over Imran Khan’s message confirms his reservations in regard to the party’s planned Azadi March.
Earlier, Javed Hashmi who had arrived in Multan last night told the media he would be announcing his decision after consulting friends.
A PTI delegation has arrived at Hashmi’s residence in Multan to address his differences.
