Gujranwala: Vote count begins in PP-100 by-election

GUJRANWALA: The Vote count got under way immediately after polling time came to an end at 5pm in by-election of PP-100, Gujranwala.
Workers of the two parties also clashed outside Muslim Ganj Polling Station. Protesting afterwards, the PTI workers blocked the GT Road.
The seat became vacant after PML-N’s Rana Shamshad Ahmad was assassinated on May 31. His elder brother Rana Akhtar is N-League’s candidate in today’s by-elections.
Meantime, PTI has fielded Ehsanullah Virk in a constituency of 162,000 registered voters. The 113 polling stations have been made for the by-polls.
