Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif visited Lahore garrison. COAS also participated commemorate Golden Jubilee celebrations of 11 Infantry Division.While talking to the participants, COAS said that the history of Pakistan Army bears testimony to the fact that its men have displayed unprecedented resolve, dedication and sacrifices for the defence of motherland.
COAS said that exceptional performance of the ‘Battle Axe Division in Indo-Pak Wars and its contributions in the ongoing ‘War on Terror’ amply substantiates its phenomenal standing as a fighting entity. He said that the victories at Khem Karan and Hussainiwala sector speaks volume of valour displayed by all ranks associated with this Division.
