ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister, Khawaja Asif on Friday claimed that nine accused involved in Karachi Dockyard attack have been arrested while two key accused are still at large.
Khawaja Asif said that two key accused who planned the attack, a commissioned and non commissioned navy officers fled the country and were last located near Afghanistan border.
He further said evidences suggested the involvement of foreign elements in the Karachi Dockyard attack, adding that three navy officers were also arrested in this connection.
Mr Asif said that they were trying to highlight such elements in the security forces and the threats will be eliminated soon.
Rejecting what he said speculations about appointment of new ISI chief he said that the new spymaster would be inducted at appropriate time.
