SHIKARPUR: Five houses were entirely burnt to ashes at village Dildar Pahore near Khanpur on Thursday early in the morning.
The fire was broken out in the houses belonging to Minority (Bagri Community) suddenly by sparking from the alive electric wires in their house.
The fire was brought under control by the villagers. However the dowry of daughters, cash and other house articles costing to rupees more than four lacs were changed to ashes.
The fire victims including Shaman, Looti, Bhagwano, Sonaro, Sheroo and Ravi by caste Bagres have demanded for financial assistance and rehabilitation.
