Fire erupts again at Lahore’s Liberty Market plaza

LAHORE: Fire at a departmental store building in Lahore’s Liberty Market area has erupted again on Tuesday evening.

Fire fighters are busy trying to put out the blaze that was controlled after 17 hours on Monday.

Early Monday, flames had enveloped four out of six levels of the building in the uptown Liberty Market area.

Four vehicles of the Pakistan Air Force’s fire unit also reached the location earlier to aid in dousing the flames, which had caused cracks in the six-floor building.

The blaze had also caused the adjacent building to catch fire.
