ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Thursday clarified that the commission did not stop the Prime Minister’s “Package for Farmers” on demand of some specific political party.
An impression has been created in a section of press that the Election Commission of Pakistan has stopped the Prime Minister’s “Package for Farmers” on demand of some specific political party, said a press release issued here.
This impression is totally fallacious as the decision of partially stopping the said package has been taken upon media reports and dozens of complaints received by the Commission directly in this regard.
