Former Speaker NA & MNA Dr Fehmida Mirza has visited Civil Hospital Badin and inquired the health of the patients and expressed annoy over deteriorating performance of staff of Civil Hospital Badin
According to the details, Former Speaker NA & MNA for Badin constituency, Dr Fehmida Mirza on the 3rd day of Eid-ul-Uzha has visited civil hospital Badin and inquired the health of admitted patients and discussed about the facilities and services provided by hospital authorities. On the occasion patients told her that dialysis machine is out of the order and are facing many of difficulties and staff of the civil hospital is not facilitating them properly, where present staff complained that their salaries are not being released on the time so they are facing terrible condition.
Other hand, while talking with media, Dr Fehmida Mirza told that many patients are coming to civil hospital Badin but those are not being attend properly. She said that media should tackle the issues as high authorities turned attention to resolve the issues of patients. On the occasion, Dr Fehmida Mirza also met with local people and discussed issues and upcoming LG election.

Extortionists threats Abra brethren over plot in Badin

Extortionists threatened the Abra brethren over their plot survey No: 107 near Caltex Petrol pumps Badin.
According to the detail, Representatives of Abra community including Ahmed Khan Abro, Mohammad Siddique Abro, Mohammad Soomar Abro, Abdul Ghani Abro, Aslam Abro, Ghulam Qadir Abro and others while holding press conference at Badin Press Club said that they have purchased a plot survey no: 107 consisting of 14400 feet near Caltex Petrol Pump Badin in 2006 and all required documents are available with them. Last day, when they started work of dumping the mud in their plot than some extortionists came to there and demanded 10 lacs for extortion. They said, they complained to concerned higher authorities about the matter but yet no one response them. They mentioned that extortionists have support of Badin political figure therefore extortionists are understood themselves powerful and they have big threat of their lives.
Through press conference, they appealed to DG Rangers Sindh, IG Police Sindh and SSP Badin to take immediate notice of the matter and make justice with them and provide protection from such criminal and extortionists.

At least 30 prisoners released on the occasion of Eid-ul-Uzha

At least 30 detainees have been released on the occasion of Eid-ul-Uzha by Session Judge Badin Javed Ahmed Keerio.
According to the reports, honorable Session Judge Badin, Javed Ahmed Keerio including others district judges Badin visit district Jail Badin and inquired the problems and issues of more than 400 detainees in district Jail Badin. On the occasion, honorable session judge Badin, Javed Ahmed Keerio accepting bails of those detainees who were prisoned in minor cases and passed order to release them among them Abdul Qadir Soomro, Sheeraz Kumbhar, Shahid Khoso, Haji Lashari, Prem Kolhi, Khamiso Sheedi, Asghar Lund and others are included.

LG candidate arrested in arms case

A candidate for a Dubi union council of Badin district, Gulsher Mallah, along with a suspected drug seller, Gul Hassan Mallah, was arrested and booked under the Arms Act following seizure of a pistol and some bullets from him. SHO Mir Mohammed Kaloi of the Khorwah police station on last day claimed that the two were found standing on the Bahadur Wah Bridge with the intention to commit some crime.
Reacting to Gulsher’s arrest, his family members claimed that his political rivals in the LG election belonging to the PPP actually conspired to have him implicated in the criminal case.

3 KILLED WHILE 5 CHILDREN SUSTAINED BULLET INJURIES.

The happy day of Eidul Azha was celebrated in tenssive situation in city Shikarpur and other areas fully district and thus the Eid happiness was turned to mourning situation when the death of a senior citizen and the popular electronics technician and the member of all traders association Shikarpur Ustad Saleem Kamangar was occurred by highhandedness of Shikarpur police on the Eid night, as well as two innocent citizens were murdered and five children were injured on first day of Eid in the firing by the armed men at village Garhi Sahib Khan Taluka Garhi Yasin in the limits of Dakhan Police Station.
According to reports, one police Head Constable Imdad Brohi of Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) Shikarpur with the help of two other police men took away the senior citizen Ustad Saleem Kamangar and put him in the police lock-up of Lakhi Gate Police Station here where Ustad Saleem was expired after highhandedness and torturing by police there.
HC of CIA Police Imdad Brohi had purchased one electronic remote control from the shop of deceased Ustad Saleem Kamangar some two weeks ago and had come on the shop of Ustad Saleem and demanded to get back the amount against the price money received by Ustad Saleem for the remote control on which the dispute occurred and after misbehaving with Ustad Saleem and took away him to police station where there he was put in police lock-up of Lakhi Gate Police Station where he was passed away after torturing him.
No FIR of the incident was registered till Sunday evening.
However on the order of SSP Shikarpur Nasir Aftab, the Lakhi Gate Police have arrested two of the accused police men named Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Dadan Jalbani, while the main accused Imdad Aka Kamando Brohi of CIA Police Shikarpur was absconding.
The relatives, traders, civil society members and citizens of Shikarpur took out the rally and staged a demonstration against the incident of death of Ustad Saleem Kamangar while keeping his dead body on Rustam Chowk Road after performing his funeral prayer after Eid prayer on Friday last.
The protesters strongly condemned the police attitude of highhandedness and demanded of SSP Shikarpur Nasir Aftab to take immediate serious notice into the incident and award severe punishment to the responsible police men.
On the other hand they have also threatened to launch serious protest movement if the police and the district administration were failed to arrest and punish the accused persons with law within a week.
Meanwhile first day of Eidul Azha some armed men opened indiscriminate fire on two of his tribesmen named Sabir Shar and Sadar Shar who were sitting at one local hotel along with their children after offering Eid prayer at village Garhi Sahib Khan.
As a result of firing Sabir Shar and Sadar Shar were killed on the spot while his five children identified as Bahadur, Manzoor, Suhino, Gulzar and Najaf of the age of 07 to 10 years sustained bullet injuries.
The assailants made their escape good from the scene of firing.
The cause behind the matter of said to be a simple matter of drainage water flowing to their fields.
The relatives and the residents of Garhi Sahib Khan and Shar-g-Wand villages while keeping the dead bodies of the deceased on the Larkan-Shikarpur Indus highway road staged a demonstration and block the road in protest against the incident of killing two villagers and injured 5 children on Friday the first day of Eid.
The dead bodies of the deceased Sadar Shar and Sabir Shar were handed over to their relatives after post-mortem from Taluka Hospital Madeji while the injured children were referred to near by hospital Dakhan for medical treatment whose condition is reported out of danger.
The FIR was lodge at Dakhan police station on the complaint of Mst Allah Dini the wife of deceased Sadar Shar against main accused Ali Sher Shar and 14 other persons.
No any arrest was made till Sunday evening.
Meanwhile all traders association Shikarpur and other city associations, Shikarpur Bachayo Tehreek have demanded in their special general meeting and condemned both the incidents and decided to observe shutter down strike in city Shikarpur and other towns of the district and the all roads of the district will be blocked till accused involved in the incident of Ustad Saleem Kamangar and the murders of two villagers brought under severe punishment within a week otherwise they threatened to extend their protest circle.

A villager was gunned down while a woman sustained bullet injuries in an allegation of Karo-Kari in the limits of Jahan Wah police station on Thursday.
According to details that as a result of an ongoing dispute developed over a Karo-Kari between two groups of Brohi tribesmen, the group of Brohi armed men hailed from Balochistan province stormed in a house of Ali Gohar Brohi in village Sardar Noor-ul- Rehman Jakhrani and opened indiscriminate firing on him to take revenge, in which Ali Gohar Brohi son of Ali Muhammad Brohi was killed on the spot and his relative woman sustained bullet injuries.
Assailant after firing ran away from the place of firing.
Reliable sources said that Ali Gohar Brohi was basically hailed from Balochistan province and he settled in village Sardar Noor-ul-Rahman Jakhrani in District Shikarpur province of Sindh couple of years ago due to an old enmity developed over the matter of Karo-Kari.
Area police handed over the body of the deceased to his heirs after conducting post-mortem examination from Rural Health Centre (RHC) Sultankot.
FIR was not registered till this news was filed.

The North Sindh Urban Services Corporation (NSUSC) authorities of Shikarpur have completely failed to cleanliness and remove heaps of garbage in Shikarpur city which resulted city is looking like Moin-jo-Daro in this regard citizens of Shikarpur irks here on Thursday.
According to details, Zahid Bhambhro the District President Qaumi Awami Tehreek Shikarpur, Mian Zafar Alvi the Chairman Shikarpur Bachayo Tehreek said that NSUSC administration of Shikarpur due to negligence of NSUSC authorities sewerage water has inundated the main roads and other main streets of their area while heaps of garbage has not been removed which resulted in spread of diseases therefore citizens of Shikarpur are facing several troubles adding more the concerned authorities despite their several complaints have not taken any notice into the matter.
Furthermore Shikarpur has losing their personality owing to corrupt officials of NSUSC while local citizens are facing hardships adding more tomorrow (today) is very precious day of all Muslims but concerned authorities have not taken any step for cleanliness and complete city is inundating of sewerage water and heaps of garbage which is condemnable act.
They demanded of the Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, District and Sessions Judge Shikarpur, Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur Abid Saleem Qureshi and concerned authorities to take notice of the matter and to provide relief to local citizen otherwise they threatened to accelerate their protest circle after Eid-ul-Azha.

LARKANA:
The Commissioner Larkana Ghulam Akbar Leghari visited the different Barracks of Central Prison Larkana to inquire the problems of Prisoners and their other issues here on Wednesday.
Commissioner Larkana on the occasion directed the Jail Superintendent to ensure the required facilities for Prisoners according to Jail Manual and proper cleanliness services, Commissioner visited the several barracks and Dispensary, of Jail where he received number of complaints from Prisoners non availability of Medicines, Doctors and Paramedic staff during the emergency.
The Commissioner Ghulam Akbar Leghari took notice of some complaints of Prisoners who are not facilitated for hearing by Jail Administration, he directed to Jail Superintendent to ensure the hearings of Prisoners in Courts so that they could get justice.
Sources informed that number prisoners are effected with several fatal diseases including Hepatitis B, C, D, HIV AIDS, unhygienic conditions and poor facilities have multiplied the problems.
Despite of spending millions of rupees on Jails of Province, conditions are unchanged, again Sindh government has approved ADP Schemes with cost of Rs 531 million for 27 Jails of Sindh province for construction of building, premises, installation of Jammers, Security Cameras, IT Scheme of 52 million and other facilities to improve the standard of Jails and make them reform houses.
