Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that doing good in Pakistan is very difficult and impossible, but when you want to do something wrong, it’s quite easy. While addressing to media persons in the federal capital today. Interior Minister has admitted on Friday that National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) is faced with issues. He said that verification process of National Identity Cards (NIC) was branded ‘impossible’ by the naysayers however, the government has proved them wrong. While talking about efforts against extremist outfits, he revealed that former chief of Taliban, Mullah Akhtar Mansour’s ID card was issued in 2005. He said that he along with honest NADRA officers blocked 0.4 million identity cards and cancelled over 32 thousand passports during past three years. The Interior Minister said that sims of mobile phones were verified as well. Only 26 fake ID cards were cancelled in 2011, Nisar said.
