ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is willing to hold dialogue with India without any preconditions, Foreign Office spokesman Qazi Khalilullah said during the weekly news briefing on Thursday.
The FO spokesman told reporters that whenever dialogue was held with India, the issue of Kashmir would be discussed. Qazi Khalilullah stressed that Pakistan’s stance on dialogue without preconditions with Indian was clear and this had been stated by Prime Minister’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz.
The FO spokesman condemned the murder of media personnel in Karachi, saying journalists had an important role in the country.
“We are sympathetic towards the media and feel sorrow after such incidents.”
Qazi Khalilullah added that the Afghan government had assured that security of the Pakistani Embassy in Kabul would be increased.
