Death toll rises to 27 in Jacobabad blast

Death toll reached 27 in suicide blast in mourning procession at Jacobabad district of Sindh on Friday.
After the death toll and injured Pakistan Air Force (PAF) C 1-30 aircraft has airlifted eleven critically injured in bomb blast from PAF base Shahbaz to Karachi hospital, while thirty two injured are still under treatment at PAF hospital Jacobabad.
The relatives’ re-launched staged protest and sit-in at Deputy Commissioner Chowk against brutal terrorist attack and continued shutter down in city on second day. Shia Ulema Council had ended their protest and sit-in off Saturday after the assurances of demands and the announcement of Rs. 2 million each victim and Rs. 1 million for injured by the Chief Minister Sindh who also visited on Saturday.
General Officer Commanding (GOC) Pano Aqil Major General Faiz Hameed visited Shehbaz Airbase at established Army Medical Camp for injured in Jacobabad blast. He assured his full support and said the terrorists they will face their act. He said after the blast in Jacobabad Pak Army troops had reached the spot and all corners for further vigilance.
Talking to this scribe a local journalist and NGO activist John Odhano told that there is no FIR has been registered of the blast incident yet, the household women and male members are still in shock over lost of lives of their minor innocent children in Jacobabad blast. He said all the citizens are badly depressed after blast and the roads, streets and markets can observe a deserted look, adding that there was no proper security on the occasion of Muharram procession on 9th everyone witnessed.
It is alleged that soon after blast dead bodies and injured rushed to Civil Hospital, but there was no one Doctor and paramedics present on the occasion. John confirmed that none of single patient was admitted in civil hospital due to inadequate facilities, because after the establishment of 133 bedded daily OPD hospital of USAID teaching and training named Jacobabad Institute of Medical Sciences, so that the civil hospital has closed its services onward by health officials in Jacobabad city he confirmed.
He told among 17 serious injured late night shifted to the Larkana 03, Sukkur 03 and 11 Karachi through C-31 by the base Commander Jacobabad Shahbaz Airbase he told.
The people are still protesting in each and every city of province against the failures of Sindh government and inefficient health authorities, despite of threats of terrorist activities; police could not protect the people
Several citizens of Jacobabad and other parts of province while expressed dissatisfaction over the Sindh government and strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Jacobabad and other pats as well lives lost and appealed Chief of Army General Raheel Sharif to cop the terrorists by such an operation Zarb-e-Azb in every nook and corner of Sindh, because PPP-run government after eight long years now has been failed to protect the citizens but only fake promises they said.
