GHOTKI: The District Administration of Ghotki on Saturday finalised arrangements for successful holding of 4-day anti-polio campaign, which would commence from July 25-28 in the district.
The arrangements were finalised during a high-level meeting of Polio Eradication Committee (PEC) presided over by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ghotki, Muhammad Tahir Bhutti at his office on Saturday.
The meeting was informed about the past and future anti-polio campaigns besides provision of facilities to the vaccinators.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the authorities concerned to utilize all their energies so that no child could be left of the facility.
He said polio was a crippling disease that could only be eradicated by administering anti-polio vaccine to kids less than five years of age.
Later, final shape was given to the arrangements made for the proposed polio campaign. The Deputy Commissioner further said that all the stakeholders of society have to perform their effective role to get rid of the crippling disease of polio.
