03 LADY DOCTORS POSTED IN CIVIL HOSPITAL DADU

KARACHI: Chief Secretary Sindh Sajjad Saleem Hotiana has advisd the Health Department to ensure 100% attendance of the doctors and para medical staff in the hospitals of Sindh government throughout the province. He also instructed to take disciplinary action against the unwilling staff of health department as per rules and government policy.

Meanwhile, MPA Sindh Ms. Kulsoom Chandio met Chief Secretary and pointed out about the shortage of doctors due to few transfers from Civil Hospital Dadu. The Chief Secretary Sajjad Saleem Hotiana in view of people’s difficulties asked the Secretary health to immediately resolve the issue. Accordingly the Secretary Health issued order for posting of 03 Lady Doctors, in Civil Hospital, Dadu.

The Chief Secretary has advised the Commissioners of all division of Sindh to ensure peace and tranquility under their jurisdiction including stability in prices and action against the hoarders and profiteers. He categorically noted that no compromise with defaulters is possible.

 

SPECIAL CARE TO BE TAKEN WHILE HANDLING MAIL/PARCELS: DR. NIAZ ALI ABBASI

KARACHI: Home Secretary Sindh Dr. Niaz Ali Abbasi has said that the government offices should take special care while handling mail/parcels so that terrorist/militants could not succeed to damage by using chemicals, explosive materials etc. through this innovative method.

In a letter addressed to administrative secretaries, Dr. Niaz Ali Abbasi said that recent operation against militants and terrorists has demand extra vigilance and preventive measures not only by law enforcing agencies but also in the government offices.

He said that senior officers and subordinate offices should adopt special measures to handle the mail as well as parcels in order to avoid any incident in this regard.

Dr. Niaz Ali Abbasi has advised that arrangements should be made by all the departments as well as its subordinate offices for proper checking of letters/parcels through electronic detectors/devices before they are opened so that any loss could be averted.
