SHIKARPUR: Ten police officials including one DSP, three SHOs and Six police men were booked at Police Station Naparkot under section 302 PPC/under crime number 39/2015 with the order by honorable Sessions Judge Shikarpur on Wednesday.
The order was made by the Sessions Judge on the complaint of Mst Latifa wife of deceased Abdul Latif Shar.
Mst Latifa had complained in the court of the District and Sessions Judge Shikarpur that DSP Abdul Malik Bhutto, SHO Zahid Abro, SHO Rafique Khuharo, SHO Riaz Malik and Six other police men including Imtiaz Brohi, Muhammad Nawaz Lohar, Irshad Abro, Abdul Ghani, Mangsi Chandio and Jamsher-ul-uddin of Khanpur, Naparkot and Kot shahoo Police Stations had murdered her husband Abdul Latif Shar and two other relatives named Usman Shar and Majeed Shar by Police while showing the false police encounter.
While according to the accused police officials the above three criminals were the relations of absconding dangers dacoits Sulto Shar and they were killed while encountering with police.
According to SSP Saqib Ismail Memon Shikarpur the investigation into the above case is in progress.
SHIKARPUR: Addressing at press conference held at Jatoi House here on Wednesday evening the former MNA Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Jatoi has allegedly said that the election polling staff deputed to conduct the polls for NA 202 Shikarpur-1 were involved in their negligence and inefficiency during the general election process held on 11 May of 2013.
However he accepted the election results although he was declared failure in wining the election despite the re-election was conducted on 21 polling stations of NA 202 Shikarpur-1 and the re-checking of the rejected votes on 07 polling stations was held on 26th May of 2015 in the presence of District Returning Officer (DRO) and Sessions Judge Shikarpur and Election Commission representatives. But inspite of that he expressed his dissatisfaction over the different results declared by the presiding officers (PO) concerned ie the results provided to the candidate was not matching with the results lying with the returning officers.
Dr Jatoi further said and added that as he believed in legal process and avoiding of adopting the untoward practice of launching the protest activities therefore he would approach to the Election Commission of Pakistan to award the serious punishment to the negligent and inefficient polling staffers involved in the negligence and inefficiency committed in counting and declaring varied results which caused to create the dispute between the candidates and the Election Commission.
In the last Dr Jatoi avoided to criticize over the election commission but he expressed his satisfaction over his success in proving the dishonesty of the election polling staffers who should be punished with law for betterment of the justice towards the election process.
The defeated PML-N candidate Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Jatoi also informed the media men that their was his petition remaining under trial in the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan in this regard and hoped for better justice relating to his election matter.
RECHECKING OF REJECTED VOTES OF 07 POLING STATIONS IN NA-202 SHIKARPUR-1
SHIKARPUR: The PPP candidate Aftab Shahban Mirani was declared as a successful with the lead of 230 votes after the rechecking of rejected votes of 07 poling stations by the returning officer Sessions and District Judge Shikarpur Amjad Ali Kazi on Tuesday here with the order of the Election Commission of Pakistan after the appeal of the defeated PML-N candidate Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Jatoi filed before the election commission of Pakistan.
During the general election held on 11 May of 2013 PML-N candidate Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Jatoi the candidate for MNA seat in NA 202 Shikarpur-1 constituency was declared as a successful by securing 54633 votes with the lead of 1252 votes on total polling stations 216 while his rival candidate Aftab Shahban Mirani was defeated by obtaining 53381 votes on total 216 polling stations in all.
The defeated candidate Aftab Shahban Mirani was dissatisfied of the above results and challenged the results of 21 polling stations in the court of election tribunal Sukkur in July of 2013 requesting therein for re-election on 21 polling stations when Mr Mirani had securied 53008 votes on 195 polling stations while his rival candidate Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Jatoi had secured 39113 votes on 195 polling stations.
The re-election on 21 polling stations was held in NA 202 Shikarpur-1 on 6th May of 2014. after the re-election on 21 polling stations Aftab Shaban Mirani was declared successful in wining the NA seat by securing 54113 with the margin of 233 votes in total while his rival candidate Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Jatoi received 53780 votes in total.
And his rival candidate Jatoi was defeated by taking 53780 votes.
The defeated candidate Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Jatoi appealed to the Election Commission of Pakistan for re-checking of the rejected votes on 21 polling stations but the Election Commission ordered to re-check the votes of 07 polling stations instead of re-checking the rejected votes of 21 polling stations to be held on 26th May 2015 by the District Returning Officer (DRO) the Sessions Judge Shikarpur Amjad Ali Kazi.
With the order of Election Commission the re-checking process was held in the District Court Shikarpur in the presence of both the candidates.
According to re-checking of the votes of 07 polling stations Aftab Shahban Mirani was again declared as a successful candidate for NA seat in NA 202 Shikarpur-1 while getting 54015 votes in all with the lead of 230 votes on 216 polling stations after the re-checking of the votes on 07 polling stations while his rival candidate Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Jatoi was defeated by getting 53785 votes in total.
LARKANA: On the order of Session Court Kamber Shahdadkot, Raid Commissioner raided at Police Station Mahi Makool and recovered Qaumi Awami Tehreek Leader Sartaj Chandio, later given judicial custody here on Wednesday.
Mujeeb u Rehman Chandio son of arrested man had filed a petition with Session Court Kamber on 23 May 2015 against the illegal detention of Sartaj Chandio by Police, the honorable court constituted the Raid Commissioner to Mumtaz Ali Shaikh who raided at Police Station Warah but did not find him during the raid, on second raid made by Raid Commissioner Mumtaz Ali Shaikh recovered Sartaj Ali Chandio in Mahi Makool Police Station of District Kamber Shahdadkok and was presented in court, later gave to judicial custody as Police had registered an FIR against him on 26 May 2015.
Advocate Sajid Mahesar told media that On the directives of Chief of Qaumi Awami Tehreek Ayaz Latif along with QAT Leader Maqsood Soomro provided the legal help to relatives of Sartaj Chandio for his recovery, he informed that now they will file application and seek his bail.
