Commissioner emphasize for vigilant & control over smuggling wheat from districts

BADIN: The Divisional Commissioner, Hyderabad Division Jamal Mustafa Syed has emphasized over the Deputy Commissioners to vigilant and control over the smuggling wheat from their district and strictly implement 144 imposed by the Sindh Government. This he was stated in a high level meeting with the Deputy Commissioners of Hyderabad Division held at DC office Badin. He said that in order to maintained food shortage, it is necessary to establish wheat procurement center for purchase sufficient quantity of wheat and should complete assigned target to districts. The DC Tando Allahyar has disclosed that there is shortage of empty bags (bardana) which may be provided. The Commissioner has directed to Food department to provide maximum required bag, so that wheat can be purchase from the growers. He said that strict vigilant over the adulteration in essential commodities item and control hike price including seed and fertilizer in this regard a routine of daily checking to items may be made and communicate report to him for on transmission to the Government of Sindh. He said that in the light of decision of the Supreme Court regarding provision of funds of production bonus and royalty by the Oil and Gas companies in various Districts. He said that all the DCs of the respective district should prepare a development plan to launch a development and welfare public project out of allocated funds by Oil Companies. Regarding burnt revenue record, he said that a monitoring committee has been constituted by the Board of Revenue to monitor the rewriting of burnt and old waste revenue record in right way. He stressed that all energies may be utilized to achieve the recovery of revenue, preparation of collection, deposition and maintained all related register in proper manner. He also focused that to combat the emergency situation of monsoon, a detailed contingency plan may be prepared to face the challenges of forthcoming Rain and flood situation. Besides other, Deputy Commissioner, Badin, Mr. Mohammad Rafique Qureshi, DC Tando Mohammad Khan, Mr. Asif Memon, DC, Sujawal Mr. Shoukat Jokhio, DC, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mr. Abdul Aleem Lashari, DC, Tando Allahyar, Mr. Abdul Rasheed Zardari, DC Dadu Mr. Nasir Abbas Soomro, DC, Matiari, Mr. Fayaz Hussain Abbasi, DC, Jamshoro, Mr. Suhail Adeeb Bachani, Assistant Commissioner, General, Mr. Muhtam Abbasi, Assistant Commissioner, Manzoor Siyal and ADC-II Mr. Fazal Hussain Awaisi also present in the meeting.
