ISLAMABAD: Army Chief General Raheel Sharif visited South Waziristan and inaugurated the launch of several projects, on Wednesday.
As per details, General Raheel Sharif said that operation Zarb-e-Azb is in final stages. He said that terrorists will not be allowed to come back and the army will not return until the job is completed.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief inaugurated Wana Cadet College and 62 km DI Khan trunk road among other projects.
500 children will be taught at the sophisticated Wana Cadet College while Dera Ismail Khan trunk road will be part of 705 kilometer long central trade corridor.
Speaking on the occasion to a large gathering of tribesmen, the Army Chief said these development projects would improve quality of life of common people, create job opportunities and usher this area into economic prosperity, which he added was his main objective.
