KARACHI: The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah while taking keen interest in introducing latest but low cost and effective USA Technologies for Bullet /Bomb proofing of government vehicles/ buildings for security reasons and refining recycling the waste water for its socio-economic benefits, has framed separate penal of officers/experts to examine and evaluate these proposed technologies and its impact of the investment. This he observed while talking the Chief Executive of SN International powers LLC (USA) Sohail Khan who called on him along with Micheal Kronick Director of his company and Mahsheed Mohiuddin country representative to discuss about this investment at CM House Karachi today.
Talking the delegates the Chief Minister Sindh said that both technologies were important for the Sindh Province specially when we are fighting with terrorism in Karachi and facing problem of brackish water in interior Sindh, besides the Municipal and Industrial waste has created health hazard condition for the common man. He said that Sindh has already planned to refine and reuse the LBOD saltiest water for the Thar Coal Power Project by treating it through ROs but if this technology is found as economical we would not only apply it for this purpose but cultivation purpose as well. He said by refining the Municipal and Industrial waste water, we not only to improve our environmental condition but control over the water born diseases to reduce the health bill of Government and citizen as well.
The Chief Minister Sindh directed the officers to KMC, LBOD and Planning & Development Department to examine the proposed waste water refining technology by establishing a pilot project at Karachi and report for future roadmap. Similarly, while elaborating the importance of Bullet proofing of government vehicles and buildings at low cost through PVC rigid composite and lamination with specialized polestar multiple layers, has asked the IG Sindh Police and other experts officers to examine the technology in all sense and submit their report with recommendations. He said that, Sindh Government was already working on this project for the protection of Police Officers. He said such type of Technology will also encourage the Police Officers and improve their performance. He said that in case of success it become popular in the private sector as well. The Principal Secretary to CM Alammuddin Bullo was present in the meeting.

KARACHI: The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has accepted the invitation of Ambassador of Romania Mr. Emilian Lon for paying visit of Romania along with businessmen, political and official delegates to promote bilateral and business relationship on both side and said that Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was pioneer of friendly relations with Romania and PPP Government to further strengthen these relations for socio-economic and cultural relationship with people of Romania. Talking with Ambassador Mr. Emilian Lon and honorary Consul General of Romania Tariq Saud who called on him at CM House Karachi today, the Chief Minister Sindh said that Sindh was rich with the Agricultural resources and produces qualitative rice, wheat, cotton and fruit production. He said that Sindhi rice and mangoes are very much popular in the European countries and we can export these species to the Romania and other interested countries. He said that economically, geographically and strategically Sindh specially Karachi has great potential of investment and business transactions. He said that because of importance 50% industries of Pakistan are established here in Karachi. He said that we had being enjoying good relations with Romania and he offered full administrative support and incentive to Romania for its investment in Sindh. The Chief Minister offered the Romania Ambassador for their investment in the energy, agriculture, industrialization and education sector. The CM Sindh said that Sindh has potential for investment in energy. He said that Thar Coal, Jhampir wind corridor were the good options for power generation and same are already been utilized by other countries Turkey and China as well.
While talking to the Chief Minister the Ambassador of Romania Mr. Emilian Lon Invited the Chief Minister Sindh to pay visit of Romania along with his cabinet members, businessman, political and official delegates to promote bilateral relations on both side. He also congratulated to PPP leader ship specially Ex. President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari for peaceful transaction of democratic Government after completing 05 years tenure.
The Ambassador of Romania said that the business community of his country is taking keen interest in the mangoes of Sindh and they want to hold mango exhibition there. He said that textile, lather and garments industries were other areas of interest between both sides and by utilizing these areas we can increase the volume of our business.
