KARACHI: The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has strongly condemned terrorist attack on renowned Journalist and senior anchorperson of Geo News Tv and termed it an attack on freedom of press and expression. He directed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh and Additional IG Police Karachi to immediately arrest the culprits involved in this attack and thoroughly investigate the incident that took place in Karachi.
Chief Minister Sindh taking serious notice of the incident said that this attack will be thoroughly investigated through senior Police officers and all aspects will be inspected and responsibility will be fixed. He directed the IGP Sindh to apprehend the terrorists involved in this heinous attack and bring them to justice.
Sindh Chief Minister further said that all the expenses of the treatment will be borne by the Government of Sindh and in this connection he directed the Provincial Secretary Health to immediately rush to the Agha Khan Hospital where Hamid Mir is admitted for treatment.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah prayed to Almighty Allah for early recovery of Hamid Mir and appealed to the entire nation for the prayer for early recovery of him.
