CM Sindh distributes cheques among victims of Shikarpur blast incident

SHIKARPUR: The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah distributed cheques among Shikarpur incident victims on Wednesday.
During his visit the Chief Minister reached at Central Imambargah and offered fatiha with the victim relatives of the innocent peoples martyred in the recent incident of suicide bomb blast attack in Central Imambargah Masjid on 30 January 2015.
The Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah reached at the premises of District Administration complex Shikarpur where he distributed the bank cheques of rupees 142600000/= among the victim family members of 64 Shaheeds and 73 injured at the rate of rupees 2000000/= each Shaheed and rupees 200000/= each injured persons.
On the occasion he took part in the negotiation with Shuhada Committee members in connection with 14 demands made by the committee and assured to consider the all demands presented by the Shuhada committee excepting the demand for conducting Army operation in district Shikarpur.
About the demand for Army operation the Chief Minister said that on the demands by the people the amendment was made in the constitution for conducting Army operation against the terrorists but inspite of that the people belonging to different sections tried to oppose the Army operation and termed and as an act of Marshal law therefore instead of conducting targeted Army operation in district Shikarpur against the terrorists activities. However he informed the Shuhada committee that the officer of brigadier rank was appointed to conduct the ongoing investigation being remained in process so that the fruit full results could be achieved.
Later while talking to media men the Chief Minister again repeated that the investigation process is in progress being conducted by the special investigation team comprising DIG Larkana, SSP Shikarpur, SSP Sukkur, SSP Khairpur and SSP Special branch Sukkur and assured that the good news into the Shikarpur incident investigation would be given to the people of Shikarpur very soon.
The Chief Minister said that the cases regarding the religious terrorism and sectarian violence would be referred to Army courts for hearing which would be decided within a week.
He said and added that in order to conduct the investigation about the Shikarpur incident by the local committee comprising two members of Ulema council and the members of the victim families so that the ongoing troubled situation could be brought under control soon as possible.
The Chief Minister was accompanied with Agha Siraj Khan Durani the speaker of Sindh Assembly, PPP PMA Meer Abid Bhayo, MPA Hazaar Khan Bijarani the Sindh minister for works and services, Ghulam Hyder Jamli the IG Police Sindh, Dr. Saeed Ahmed Magnejo the Divisional Commissioner Larkana, and Meer Babal Khan Bhayo the District president PPP Shikarpur.
