KARACHI: The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah met with Corps Commander Karachi Lt. General Naveed Mukhtar, on Thursday at CM house.
During the meeting they discussed and exchanged the views on ongoing flood situation and preventative measures by Govt and expressed their satisfaction over the situation.
The Chief Minister praised the role of Pak-Army for extending help to the Irrigation Department, civil administration for strengthening the Embankments and participating rescue operation for transporting the people of Katcha area to the safe places.
The CM Sindh Thanked for these services by Pak-Army. The Corps Commander also assured the Chief Minister for extending more help if needed to cope with any eventuality of flood or rain related situation.
