CID police arrest three accused of killing 14 policemen

KARACHI: CID police claimed to have apprehended three gang war accused, involved in the killing of 14 police personnel and recovered weapons and hand grenades, Geo News reported.

SSP CID Usman Bajwa told Geo News here Friday that police during action in Gulshan-e-Iqbal arrested three members of Lyari gang war’s Sohail Ladla group.

He said, the accused have been identified as Sheeraz Faisal, Muhammad Zubair and Abdul Rehman and they were involved in the killing of 14 policemen and several other people.

Police recovered massive weapons and hand grenades from their possession.

In another action, CID police also arrested a man namely Abdul Ghani alias Akram and recovered proscribed electronic devices from his custody. These devices included mobile phone trackers, FM frequency tracker, hacking and transmitters and the instruments used in terrorism.
