Chief Minister, Sindh takes notice of shortage and theft of water

Syed Qaim Ali, Chief Minister Sindh took serious notice of news of electric and print media regarding the theft and shortage of water in lower Sindh and paid sudden visit of Mithrau Canal Naukot here on Tuesday. CM Sindh also presided a high level meeting with local representatives and Irrigation department’s officials.
Later, Syed Qaim Ali Shah talked with media persons and said that there is no any water shortage but due to irresponsibility of Irrigation department, distribution of water has not been done properly. Water would be reached up to tail and complaints of growers would be solved about theft of water, he added.
CM, Sindh further said public have not trust on police but we will use the police to control the theft of water, because Rangers is busy in Hyderabad and Karachi so we cannot use them in this matter.
On the other side, growers lodged the protest and said their lands have been ruined because of shortage and theft of water by powerful and source able landlords and nobody is here to listen their problems.
