SUKKUR: PPP MNA Syeda Nafeesa Shah on Friday has said that government would provide all possible assistance and relief to the students adding that that the Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Qaim Ali Shah wanted students to focus on their talent and honing of skills instead of worrying about their educational expenses.
Addressing a cheque distribution ceremony under the Poverty-cum- merit scholarships at Sachal Auditorium, she urged them to seek higher education and help eradicate corruption and sectarianism from society.
The cheaques were given to 1581 students of the 170 different educational institutions, under the Poverty-cum- merit scholarships at Sachal Auditorium Khaipur.
MNA further said that tolerance was critical for smooth functioning of democracy. She said that PPP led government had proved in its five years of our government that we had the required capability to run the democratic system and have the required level of tolerance.
