Cathay Pacific cancels flight operations

KARACHI: Repercussions of the brazen terrorist attack on Pakistan’s largest airport, the Jinnah International have begun to surface with Cathay Pacific discontinuing flights to Pakistan from the 28th of June.

Cathay Pacific had earlier suspended flights to Karachi following the terrorist attack on Sunday 8th June, however operations resumed on the 13th of June after a change in the airline’s flight schedule.

According to sources, the airline has intimated the Civil Aviation Authority regarding its decision. The Hong Kong based airline had been operating two flights to Karachi.
