LARKANA/LAKHI: Former District Shikarpur Nazim Arif Khan Mahar, the brother of ex-opposition leader in Sindh assembly MPA Sheheryar Mahar alleged for occupation on Petrol pump and its millions of property.
Trader Abdul Ghafoor Brohi along with accomplices has alleged for occupation on his valuable property petrol pump and issued life threats as well kidnapping if not handed over the pump.
The owner of the Petrol Pump at Lakhi Ghulam Shah Sukkur road, told journalists during his press conference that his petrol pump (Lucky Filling Station) was established on 1997 at Lakhi Ghulam Shah Tehsil of District Shikarpur but for some time, he was regularly received threats to withdraw the property otherwise he will be kidnapped and killed he told.
The influential had eye on his property and he was powerful enough and several times forced him to sell out Petrol Pump on his refusal, he apprised the matter to former District Nazim Shikarpur, Ghous Bux Mahar father of Arif Khan Mahar about the issue but no action was taken in this regard.
Abdul Ghafoor Brohi alleged that three days back Arif Khan Mahar himself accompanying by scores of armed dacoits barged into the pump and demolished the portion of boundary wall and threatened the workers and other staff of petrol pump.
He alleged that it was attempt to occupy the property and deployed their armed men and driven out to owners and workers from Petrol pump and, he expressed his determination that he would never bow down and not sell out his property at any cost, he said.
He told that he has danger to his life and workers from influential person.
He appealed to Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan, DG Rangers, IG Sindh and other high ups to take notice of matter, provide the protection of his life and save his property from occupation and provide justice.
LDA will provide 260 plots on 60 percent subsidy for media, lawyers and poor people

LARKANA: Chairman Larkana Development Authority (LDA) Aamir Zaib Jatoi on Saturday said that LDA has prepared low cost development scheme to provide 260 yard plots on 60 percent subsidy for media, lawyers and downtrodden people in Larkana.
Addressing the press conference at Larkana Press Club, he said that LDA has floated PC1 of low cost housing scheme to provincial government for approval, we have made the LDA operative after took charging as Chairman, no development work will be executed without seeking NOC, Site plane, Map and other formalities by LDA.
He said that land mafia and builders had become active to carry out the illegal housing schemes in city without providing basic facilities road, sewerage, gas, electricity and others, adding that LDA has served notices to 27 petrol pumps, CNG stations and 18 housing schemes for completing legal formalities and LDA rules in order to avoid action.
Chairman LDA Aamir Zaib Jatoi said that citizens should ensure the mentioned formalities before indulging in sell or purchase of plot and house at any housing schemes, a crackdown operation will be carried out against the builders and developers involved in illegal housing schemes.
To a question about the LDA role in mega sewerage scheme and other development projects in Larkana city, he said that LDA was not taken on board, because it was provincial funded scheme.
Another question about his involvement behind the occupation on land of Mugheri community, he denied the and termed it baseless allegations against him, it was bid to exempt from LDA actions, we had served the notices to them for illegal housing scheme.

SHIKARPUR: The activists and the former Taluka Presidents of Garhi Yasin, Khanpur, Lakhi Ghulam Shah and city President of Pakistan Muslim league Nawaz (PML-N) allegedly said that newly appointed district president of PML-N Shikarpur Dost Muhammad Chandio is involved in corruption, thefts and selling of drugs on Saturday.
According to reports former President of Taluka Garhi Yasin and other leaders including Muhammad Siddiuqe Brohi, Hadi Bux Rajar, Ali Ahmed Malik, Abdul Razaq Khan Khoso, Riaz Brohi, Nizam Sanjrani, Liaquat Brohi, Gada Hussain Soomro and others said that we would launching a drive against newly appointed PML-N District President Dost Muhammad Chandio after Eid-ul-Fitr.
On the occasion they accused to Mr Chandio who is involved in several cases of thefts and other heinous crimes.
They further said and added that the FIRs are also present on the record as evidence.
They further said that Local Government (LG) Elections is coming up but progress in connection of Local Government (LG) Elections is zero in Shikarpur.
On the occasion they demanded of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to take immediate notice and immediately remove to Mr. Chandio from his post of district president otherwise we launch protest drive across Sindh against Mr Chandio.
