British PM Cameron hails Pakistan’s efforts in terror war

LONDON: British Prime Minister David Cameron has praised Pakistan’s efforts in war against terror and said everyone has to play his role to eliminate ‘cancer’ of terrorism.

In an exclusive interview with Geo News correspondent Asif Dar, British Premier said, “There is need for joint efforts to cope with terrorism.” He added UK was assisting Pakistan in military operation Zarb-e-Azb.

Cameron said recently he held meeting with Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif in a pleasant atmosphere.

He went on to say that Islamic State (IS) and other terror groups were twisting teachings of Islam, adding that every segment of the society has to play its role to distance the Muslim youth away from these organizations.
