LARKANA: Former President and Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari says all the murderers of Benazir Bhutto have almost been eliminated.
Speaking to PPP leaders on the occasion of Benzair Bhutto’s birth anniversary, he said that a general and some accomplices were nominated in the FIR of BB’s murder.
BB herself got registered the FIR, neither me nor anybody else lodged the case,” he said, adding that Mohtarma had said Musharaf would be responsible if anything happened to her.
“We cannot withdraw the FIR, no matter how much pressure you exert on us or how much you fight for that,” said Zardari.
The PPP co-chairman said nobody could withdraw the FIR. “You need not worry because children of Benazir and people stand by me,” he told the participants.
Earlier speaking to PPP Sindh leaders he said all the institutions must act within their parameters.
Zardari expressed resolve to continue his efforts for the supremacy of law and democracy in Pakistan where he said all the decisions should be taken on the basis of ballot paper instead of bullet.
He said that unity in civil and military leadership has achieved success against terrorism .

LARKANA: The 62nd birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was observed by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) here on Sunday.
There was thin attendance due to hot weather in Larkana, Sukkur and other parts of Sindh, PPP workers and leaders attendance was also thin at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto, while a large number of workers and local party reached Naudero on the day to pay tribute to the brave leadership of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
Chairman, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari along with Senator Rehman Malik offered Fateha on her 62nd birthday and pledged to pick the thread of her struggle for democratic and an egalitarian Pakistan.
On the occasion, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah along-with his cabinet members, and central leaders of PPP also visited the mausoleum of martyrs of Bhutto family at Garhi Khuad Bux Bhutto. A Quran Khuwani and Dua held at Bhutto House Naudero and Iftar-dinner was hosted by the Co-Chairman and former president of PPP Asif Ali Zardari, Chairman, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Leader of the Opposition in National Assemble Syed Khursheed Ahmed, MNA Faryal Talpur and others attend the Iftar dinner.
Bilawal said that ‘Jiyalas’ had a special place in her heart and he would continue to rely on them to carry the message of the martyred leadership to the barefoot and downtrodden masses.
He said that the philosophy of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto continued to be the guiding principles for the PPP leadership, workers and the toiling masses across Pakistan.
Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Qaim Ali Shah on Sunday said that the Sindh government and Rangers are on the same page against terrorism.
Speaking to the media at Naudero and Garhi Khuda Bux, on the eve of birth anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, the CM Sindh said that the media has highly exaggerated reports of the letter that was written to the Rangers, he added that any minor differences will be set aside.
Later, the Sindh CEC member meeting was chaired by Chairman, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Co-Chairman and former president of PPP Asif Ali Zardari at Naudero.
