KARACHI: Due to serious threats of terror attacks during the holy month of Muharram, the Sindh government has decided to ban pillion-ridding from 8th to 10th Muharram.
The decision was taken during a high level meeting regarding law and order situation, which was chaired by Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah here on Monday.
The meeting decided that pillion-ridding would be banned in the province from 8th Muharram till 10th Muharram. The meeting also decided to requests the federal government for suspending mobile phone services on Ashura Day to avoid any untoward incident in the province.
