ATC sends 3 MQM women activists on 4-day physical remand

KARACHI: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Karachi on Saturday has sent three Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) women activists on physical remand till August 30.
As per detsils, Karachi police produced arrested MQM’s women before an administrative Judge in ATC in charges of violence on August 22, as arrested women Rabia, Quratulain and Sumera have charged on ransacked and violence in a private TV channel.
Police told the court that further probe being made with them, so their remand should be given, on which court handed over three MQM accused to police on remand till August 22.
The workers that were arrested yesterday were MQM Women Wing in-charge Rabia, her daughter Qurat-ul-Ain, who is also MQM’s Councillor of City Council in Karachi, and Sumaira Bibi, party’s Burns Road sector member.
