LARKANA: Anti Terrorist Court (ATC) Larkana awarded life imprisonment to three accused convicted in kidnappings for ransom cases in separate cases here on Monday.
According to details: The court of Muhammad Riaz Rajput awarded the imprisonment twice time each to accused Laiq son of Tooh Khatiyan and accused Abdul Wahab son Atta Muhammad in kidnapping of Pir Muhammad and Khalid Khatiyan resident of Warah and ATC court also ordered to seize the properties as punishment, accused had kidnapped for ransom 30 January 2014, Muhammad Ilyas brother of abducted men had lodged the FIR against the accused in Warah Police station, Police had arrested the one of accused Laiq son of Tooh Khatiyan where as other accused Abdul Wahab was reported absconding.
Another kidnapping for ransom case, ATC Larkana while announcing the judgment, awarded life term imprisonment to accused Sadar Gopang who is absconder in case on proving the kidnapping of Muhammad Ali Rajput in the limits of Kamber Police while other accused Faqeer Muhammad alias Faqiro was acquitted proving innocent in case.

LARKANA: over 100 buses and Vans were shifted to Air port road Larkana from different locations of city on the orders of Sindh High Court Circuit Court Larkana here on Monday.
Deputy Commissioner Ghanwar Ali Leghari along with SSP Larkana Kamran Nawaz, Assistant Commissioner Larkana Dr Masood Ahmed Bhutto, DSP Yar Muhammad Rind, Inspector Jani Shah told media in press conference at Larkana Press Club regarding the action and implementation of court orders.
He apprised that in 1st phase some private bus and van stops have removed from city and shifted them to Airport road Larkana to avoid the traffic problems while in second phase all other private Addas and stops set up at different locations will be shifted to new Bus terminal after the 27thDecember 2014 in this regard all is set to work on plane for second phase he said.
DC Larkana Ghanwar Ali Leghari told that several CNC stations and Petrol pumps causing traffic problems have been warned for ensuring the smooth service, violators will be dealt with stern action by cancellation their licenses, adding that a team comprising on 10 members among Police, Revenue and TMA under supervision of Mukhtiarkar has been formed to monitor the transporters activities and ensure court orders.

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad’s new lot of officers Deputy Commissioner Fayaz Ali Jatoi, Administrator HMC Khalid Mahmood and SSP Irfan Ali Baloch have assured the business community and citizens at large to continue solving issues facing Hyderabad the campaign for which they had launched since last few months. They were addressing businessmene, merchants, traders and industrialists at hall of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry here Tuesday.
Replying to issues raised by business community, Deputy Commission Fayaz Ali said that citizens might have felt the change in situation of city is in offing. He said posting of present officers Commissioner, DC, SSP, and Administrator by Sindh government was ample proof of intention of Sindh government to improve the civic and law order situation of Hyderabad. He said he was himself fan of Adminnistrator Khalid Mahmood and that after taking over by SSP Irfan Baloch the situation of law and order has improved to much extent.
He assured to restore past glory of Hyderabad as a peaceful city and its gandeur in collaboration with his companion officers. He said government has sanctioned Rs. 600 millions for improving infrastructure with which all roads and drainage lines would be improved and land mafia removed. Administrator Khalid Mahmood said that he has started anti encroachment drive which has begun to give results. He asked Building Control Authority to ensure parking while approving NOC for any building as he said there was no name for parking in city. SSP Irfan Ali Baloch told businessmen that police was having big challenges of street crimes and terrorism; we are trying to overcome these issues despite dearth of resources.
He said the law and order of Hyderabad has gone from bad to worse since last few years. He said police has taken strict measures and launched targeted operation against street criminals, robbers, drug peddlers and anti social elements,including gambling dens and brothels. During campaign 15 to 20 criminals have been injured in encountes while many others nabbed. He said he was trying to restore lost peace of city and achieve it police has given sacrifices as last year 18 police officials martyred. He assured to come to expectations and confidence of citizens.
He proposed forming joint committees with reference to encroachments and traffic issues. Earlier president HCCI Goharullah presented welcome address and said that business community was facing law and order situation affecting business and industrial activities as they feel not safe to work in such environment. The load shedding of electricity and CNG has crippled national economy, more so the general condition of water supply, sewerage and broken roads, he added.
Vice president Ziauddin briefed that during 2013-14 product worth 98 million dollars was exported from Hyderabad and that traders pay more than Rs.22 billion in taxes. He informed out of 400 industrial units only 250 were active in industrial production process. Few industries have shifted to Punjab due to bad law order and infrastructure reasons. Mahmood Ali Rajput and Abid Mian Dehlvi also gave briefings on their sub committees.
NSUSC Plan to ensure cleanliness on Christmas

SUKKUR: North Sindh Urban Services Corporation (NSUSC) has released its Christmas plan aiming to maintain overall cleanliness and neat environment around the Christian localities, missionary schools and churches across the city by efficiently collecting and transporting solid waste generated during Christmas days.
According to Managing Director NSUSC Abdul Majeed Pathan, the separate duty roasters of staff and Waste Collection & Transportation Vehicles have been issued with strict instructions to implement the plan as per need. Mechanical washing in all Churches in the city has already begun and washing process will be completed before Christmas day.
Adjacent areas and roads to leading churches will also be both manually and mechanically swept and washed and later on lime will be applied to give pavements a clean look.
Meanwhile, all celebrations related to Christmas have been cancelled on the call of Christian community and in the light of recent tragic incident at Peshawar in which a large number of school children were brutally massacred by the terrorists.

SHIKARPUR: A clothes shop gutted due to short circuit in Shahi Bazaar Shikarpur within the jurisdiction of Sturt Ganj Police Station here on Tuesday.
According to reports a clothes shop is situated in Shahi Bazaar Shikarpur erupted fire due to short circuit on the occasion clothes shop owner namely Ghulam Muhammad Rajpoot has said that due to short circuit total clothes had kept in the shop completely burned and shop was also damaged.
Source said clothes shop is rented to Ghulam Muhammad and he will face severe hardships due to fire burned.
