MUMBAI: Aamir Khan’s ‘Ghajini’ girl Asin Thottumkal is all set to get married soon! And if the buzz is anything to by, then it was her ‘Khiladi 786’ co-star Akshay Kumar, who was instrumental in getting her to meet the love of her life, Rahul Sharma, a Delhi-based entrepreneur.
When Asin did AR Murugadoss’s Ghajini seven years back, she could not have predicted that a few years later, she was actually going to meet her real life Sanjay Singhania (the name of Aamir Khan’s character in the film). Well, we can tell you that she has and he is none other Rahul Sharma (aged 36 years) who is the founder of India’s biggest mobile company (he owns the Micromax brand), making him one of the world’s youngest successful entrepreneurs today.
Apparently, Asin, wanted to complete all her professional commitments before tying the nuptial and was waiting for her latest- ‘All Is Well’ to release.
Akshay, who is reportedly a very dear friend of Rahul, played cupid and thus brought the two hearts closer.
Before making her Bollywood debut, Asin had created a niche for herself in the south Indian film industry. And in Bollywood, she got an opportunity to rub shoulders with the likes of Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn.
