KARACHI: The younger daughter of PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Asifa Bhutto Zardari, called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah here at the CM House on Thursday.
Asifa Bhutto discussed matters pertaining to the polio eradication campaign going on in the province and also improvements in Lyari medical college, said a statement on Thursday.
The CM Sindh briefed Asifa Bhutto about the steps taken by Sindh government to eradicate polio from Sindh.
He said that he has designated a separate force comprising 700 police men to provide security to the anti-polio teams when they launch their drive.
He further said that the Lyari medical College was being given special attention because it is located in the area which represent lower middle class.
Asifa Bhutto said that Lyari medical college is only for poor girls and “it is my dream to make it a seat of excellence,” she vowed, for which the CM Sindh assured her of his full support and cooperation and lauded her efforts and interest for the cause of medical education of poor girls.
