Army Chief made a fair statement: Rana Sanaullah

LAHORE: Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Thursday said a red-alert has been issued across Punjab following the Wednesday’s deadly bomb blast in the capital city of Islamabad in which dozens of people lost their lives and scores others sustained wounds.

Talking to media persons here, Rana Sanaullah said the Army Chief had made a fair statement but analysts on media deformed it, ‘giving it whatever colour they liked’.

Terming the Islamabad incident an inhuman act, he said the security of places where Chinese were engaged in work had been beefed up after a fresh reevaluation.

The Punjab minister categorically denied reports of the government-military rift. “The speech Khwaja Asif had made during the military rule is being replayed and discussed today,” he regretted.

  1. They visited the mill involved
in theft, doing what, nvestigation, arrests what? Do we have or don’t we have
departments and personnel for such work? If these two think that they are fit
and suitable and should be doing this job then perhaps we ought to find two
other people who are upto taking care of such important positions which these
    two people are occupying.
