Anti Corruption nab 4 accused over the corruption charges

LARKANA: Anti Corruption Establishment Circle office Larkana has nabbed 4 people among Manager Oqaf and retired Sub Registrar over the corruption charges while rest of accused involved in cases will be arrested very soon, Circle Officer Rato Khan Jalbani told media men while addressing the press conference here at his office on Friday.
He informed that Anti Corruption Police have registered 4 FIRs against the several accused allegedly involved in corruption, tempering in documents and other records, during the separate raids, Anti
Corruption Police arrested retired Sub Registrar Larkana Hakim Ali Suhrahio on allegedly tempering in documents of two acre agriculture land in Deh Wah Nabi Bux Taluka Larkana, Anti Corruption Police also
nabbed Manager Oqaf Larkana Nasir Ahmed Shaikh, Shehzad Ahmed Rajput and Chebhar Khan Jamali Head Master Government Primary School Miro Khan Chok Larkana on allegedly fraud and corruption, they were presented in court and kept in Police custody at different Police Stations on remand.
Circle Officer Rato Khan Jalbani said that hundreds applications were in pending since several years which were put up in ACC meetings for disposal, now actions are being taken against the accused.
On the occasion Additional Circle Officer Larkana Abdul Hameed Sangi was also present.

STEVTA installs matrix system (face ID attendance machines) in 24 institutions

LARKANA: Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA) authority has introduced the modern methods against the ghost employees and provided Face ID attendance machines for 24 institutions of Larkana region for controlling the ghost teachers and other employees.
Sindh government has started the crackdown against the ghost employees in throughout Sindh at different departments to control the ghost employees in this regard STEVTA has installed the 24 face ID
attendance machines at entry points of institutions for all employees go through new system and ensure their attendance by finger impressions before entering into any intuitions.
Regional Director STEVTA Larkana Aijaz Ali Jamali told that new system is good development to stream line institutions, it will yield positive results, he added that 24 Face ID attendance machines received him from Head office and handed to concerned officials for installations.

Larkana Union of Journalists and Larkana Press Club held Yome dua for Hamid Mir

LARKANA: Larkana Union of Journalists ( LUJ) and Larkana Press Club on central call of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists ( PFUJ) arranged a Yome Dua for early recovery of senior journalist and Anchor person Hamid Mir.
President LUJ Muhammad Ali Behleem, President Larkana Press Club Zaffar Ali Abro, General Secretary LUJ Imtiaz Ali Gorar, Dr Badar Shaikh, Muhram Shaikh, Qazi Aijaz, Akbar Kaimkhani and other senior
journalists participated in Yome Dua and prayed for good health of Hamid Mir who was injured by armed men at Karachi few days back.

Pir Sain Pagara sends Chief Khaleefa to offer condolence with heirs of Ali Gul Sangi

LARKANA: Faqir Qadir Bux Magerio Chief Khaleefa of Pir Sain Pagara arrived at village Dodai offered dua and conveyed the condolence message of Spiritual Leader of Hur Jamat Pir Sain Pagara to heirs of late Faqeer Ali Gul Sangi.
Besides several notables condoled with Gulfam Gul Sangi on death of Ali Gul Sangi among MPA Khursheed Ahmed Junejo, Sardar Ali Nawaz Jalbani, Shafqat Hussain Unar, President Awami Tehreek Ayaz Latif Palejo, Maozam Khan Abbasi, Sardar Safdar Mithani, former MPA Anwar Ali Mahar, Sardar Sajad Soomro and others.
While Larkana Press Club arranged a condolence reference on sad demise of Ali Gul Sangi former President Larkana Press Club and renowned poet who passed away few days back, Deceased was suffering from lever diseases and few months back he had undergone the transplantation of lever at India.
On the occasion, Nazir Siyal, Zafar Abro, Dr Badar Shaikh, President Larkana Union of Journalists Muhammad Ali Behleem, General Secretary Imtiaz Gorar, Vice President LUJ Mahram Shaikh,
Akbar Qaimkhani, Qazi Aijaz, Gulfam Gul Sangi son of late Ali Gul Sangi and others paid rich tribute to Later Ali Gul Sangi on his rendered services for literary field and journalism Ali Gul Sangi was good intellectual and Poet, renowned singers of Pakistan have sung his poetry, among Abida Parveen, Manzoor Sakhrani, Ustad Muhammad Yousif, Sarmad Sindhi, Humera Channa, Shazia Khushik and others, besides he was author of 8 Books among “Peperan Me Pengh” and “ Kanda Saria Kalh”.
Late Ali Gul Sangi was leader of Hur Jamat of Pir Pagara remained the UC Nazim during 2005, he was chieftain of Sangi community, he left behind two wives, 6 sons and five daughters, his services for Sindhi language and people will be remembered for ever.
SEPCO authorities undertakes at Court to restore the electricity of Nazar feeder and equal treatment with all consumers LARKANA: High Court of Sindh Circuit Court Larlama disposed off the petition after the undertaking by respondents to restore the suspended supply of electricity of Nazar Feeder within three hours and to be don equal treatment with all consumers here on Thursday.
Superintending Engineer SEPCO Larkana Nazir Ahmed Soomro, Deputy Director Abdul Karim Memon, Mushtaque Hussain Burdi XEN Larkana while filing the comments, undertook that electricity supply of Nazar feeder will be restored within three hours after issuance of court order and there will be equal treatment with the consumers of Nazar feeder and consumers of other feeders in the Larkana city, said in comments filed by SEPCO officials at before the court, how ever theft of electricity as alleged by respondents, concerned officials would be liberty to approach the Police Station for proceeding against them in accordance with law.
In case of failure of undertaking, respondents will face contempt of court and come up on 13 May 2014.
