SHIKARPUR: A notorious dacoit identified as Zameer son of Noor Hassan Lolai arrested in injured condition with T.T Pistol after an alleged encounter took place between police and the dacoits at Larkana-Sukkur road near Sim Shaakh in the jurisdiction of Lakhi Ghulam Shah police station on Sunday early in the morning.
The Lakhi Ghulam Shah police after receiving the information that some group of armed dacoits were standing on the road for committing road robbery near Sim Shaak, police rushed on the spot and after encountering police have arrested a dacoit with weapon in injured condition.
While the other dacoits made good their escape from the place of encountering.
According to spokesman of the police Naseem Bukhari informed this correspondent that the arrested injured dacoit was wanted in dozens of criminal cases including road robberies, kidnapped for ransom, murders, extortion, police encountering and other heinous crimes registered against him in Bado, Dakhan and Lakhi Ghulam Shah police stations in District Shikarpur.
He further said and added that an FIR No. 61/2015 and 62/2015 was registered at the Lakhi Ghulam Shah police station against dacoit Zameer Lolai on behalf of state on the complaint of Station House Officer (SHO) Lakhi Ghulam Shah Siddique Shar.
Further police investigation is in underway.
Besides Madeji police have arrested 14 suspect persons during separate police raids at village Mir Hassan Dahani, village Teail Dahani and village Dur Muhammad Dahani on last late evening to eliminate the crimes in the limits of Shikarpur District in this regard.
RANGERS OFFICER MARTYRED AND TWO RANGERS MEN INJURED IN AN ENCOUNTER WITH ARMED MEN

SHIKARPUR: The Ranger officer was martyred and two Rangers men were seriously injured in an encounter took place between the Rangers personnel and the armed men during the operation against criminals by Rangers at By-pass road near Garhi Yasin town on Tuesday evening.
According to reports one Shikarpur Ranger Incharge Officer (DSR) Abdul Jabbar Abbasi was martyred. While two of Rangers men Mushtaque Ahmed and Asmat Hayat received serious bullet injuries during the exchange of firs.
Besides one armed men identified as Shahban Marfani and a road passer Abdul Qadir Mahar were also killed during the firing.
Whereas one armed men identified as Gulsher Brohi was also injured in firing.
The dead body of the deceased Rangers Officer Abdul Jabbar Abbasi resident of Bahawalpur Punjab and the injured Rangers men Asmat Hayat, Mushtaque Ahmed and Gulsher Brohi were sent to District Headquarter Hospital Shikarpur, from where the two injured Rangers men were referred to Pano Akil Cantonment Army Hospital for medical treatment after providing them medical first aid at Shikarpur Hospital.
While the injured Gulsher Brohi was admitted at Shikarpur Hospital for medical treatment.
According to further reports the dead bodies of the armed men Shahban Marfani and a road passer Abdul Qadir Mahar were kept at Garhi Yasin Hospital for conducting post-mortem examination.
Soon after the incident of encountering the big police and Rangers contingent was brought from Larkana and other places in search of the armed criminals involved in encountering with Rangers at various areas in Taluka Garhi Yasin District Shikarpur.
FIR OF AN ENCOUNTER BETWEEN RANGERS AND ARMED MEN REGISTERED

SHIKARPUR: The FIR of the incident of encountering with Rangers was registered at Garhi Yasin police station on Wednesday.
It may be recalled that on last Tuesday evening the encounter took place between the Rangers and the armed men in which the officer In-charge Rangers Deputy Superintendent Rangers (DSR) Abdul Jabbar Abbassi and the Rangers constable Mushtaque Ahmed were martyred and the other Rangers constable Asmat Hayat was seriously wounded.
Besides one of the armed man Shahban Marfani and a road passer Abdul Qadir Mahar were killed during an encounter while one other armed men identified as Gulsher Brohi was also seriously injured in firing.
The injured Rangers constable Asmat Hayat and another injured were referred to Pano Akil Army Hospital for medical treatment.
On the complaint of Deputy Superintendent Rangers (DSR) Manzoor Jat the FIR was registered at Garhi Yasin police station under crime No. 76/2015 under section 302-353-324-49-148 PPC and 6/7 ATA against eleven armed men including Afgan Marfani, Amaan Tunio, Muhammad Nawaz Marfani, Ali Nawaz Marfani, Kiwal Marfani, Babal Tunio, Ghulam Murtaza Marfani, Hussain Bux Marfani, Shahbaz Marfani, Sikandar Marfani and Shahban Marfani.
Stating in FIR the complainant DSR Manzoor Jat said that he along with martyred DSR Abdul Jabbar Abbasi and other Rangers personnel was on the way to proceed towards the hideouts in search of some criminals when the Rangers party reached near village Khahi Mahar on by-pass road the armed men who were hiding in both the sides of by-pass road Garhi Yasin ambushed to the Rangers personnel. While the Rangers also fired in reply.
As a result of firing during the encountering the DSR Abdul Jabbar Abbassi and Mushtaque Ahmed Rangers constable were expired and the other Rangers constable Asamt Hayat was seriously wounded.
The police investigation is in progress. However no any arrest of the culprits was reported till to day evening.
A MOTHER OF THREE KIDS DIES BY CONSUMING POISONOUS SUBSTANCE

SHIKARPUR: A mother of three children Mst Nusart of 25, the wife of Jahangir Pathan committed suicide while taking the poising drug in her home at Kiri Atta Muhammad Muhalla here within the jurisdiction of Sturt Gang police station on Tuesday late night.
The cause behind the incident of suicide was said to be family disputes.
While according to parents of deceased Mst Nusart that they were suspected that she was given poison by her husband but she was not involved in committing suicide herself.
The dead body of the deceased woman was handed over by police to her heirs after having conducted post-mortem examination at District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital Shikarpur.
No FIR was registered till Wednesday evening.
A BOMB THREAT
SHIKARPUR: The Khushal Khan Khattak Express Karachi bound Peshawar train detained at Jacobabad railway station on the information of set up bomb a section on railway track near Thul railway track on Thursday morning.
According to reports Railway authorities of Jacobabad, District police and along with bomb disposable squad arrived at railway track near Thul station District Jacobabad while after review of the railway track and confirmed that the bomb threat information was fabricated.
After passage of 3 hours railway authorities concerned clarify the track and gave permission to Khushal Khan Khattak Express to their destination.

SHIKARPUR: A woman and her paramour killed in firing by her husband on pretext of Karo-Karo at village Ali Nawaz Jakhrani in the jurisdiction of Abad police station in Jacobabad on Thursday.
According to details a woman identified as Dur bibi Jakhrani and her neighbor paramour identified Gul Muhammad Jakhrani were killed in firing by her husband Muhammad Ali Jakhrani.
Area Police Official rushed on the spot and bodies of the deceased handed over to their heirs after having conducted post-mortem examination from local Hospital.
While the accused killer managed to good escape from the place of incident.
FIR was not registered till this news was filed.
RANGERS RAID

SHIKARPUR: The ongoing operation to arrest notorious dacoits who were involved in several heinous crimes including murder, kidnapping for ransom, road robberies, encountering and involved in murder of Deputy Superintendent Rangers (DSR) Abdul Jabbar Abbasi and Rangers constable Mushtaq Ahmed in this connection Rangers conducted a raid in different villages here on Thursday late evening.
According to reports Ranger personnel conducted a raid in village Salar Marfani, village Gulsher Marfani and villages Qaim Khan Tunio and burnt houses of involved armed men.
Armed men escaped away from villages before Ranges raid.
It is mentioned that Director General (DG) Ranger Major General Bilal Akbar held a meeting at Rangers Headquarter (RHQ) in Larkana on Wednesday to review ongoing operation against criminals in Larkana Division and taken important decisions in the meeting for elimination of the criminals.
No any arrest was reported till this story was filed on Friday evening.
YOUTH DROWNS INTO CANAL ANOTHER RESCUED

SHIKARPUR: A youth identified as 18-years old Fayyaz Ahmed Shaikh resident of Madeji town was drowned into Dakhan Shaakh another youth identified as 18-years old Khadim Hussain Ansari was rescued by divers when who were taking bath into canal in the jurisdiction of Madeji police station District Shikarpur some 30 kilometer from here on Friday noon.
Area Police Officials (APOs) rushed on the spot and the dead body of the deceased handed over to his heirs after conducting post-mortem examination from Rural Health Centre (RHC) Madeji Hospital.
While another Khadim Hussain Ansari admitted in RHC Madeji Hospital for medical treatment.

SHIKARPUR: The activists of Qaumi Awami Tahreek (QAT) District Shikarpur chapter held a token strike camp at Lakhi Gate Shikarpur against long standing problems of Sindh including unemployment, terrorism, unannounced power outages, acute shortage of water in District Sanghar, Badin, Thatta, Tando Muhammad Khan, Increase corruption and demands ban on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) for his activities here on Friday.
QAT, District leader Zahid Bhambhro, Zafar Channa, Rauf Abro, Shahnawaz Abro, Abdul Qadeer Soomro, Khan Muhammad, Punhal Kashelo and other demanded of the Federal Government of Pakistan and other authorities concerned to take immediate notice of the matters, otherwise they threatened to extend their protest movement across Pakistan.
Several social activists including Mian Zafar Alvi, Ali Asghar Pahore Advocate, Abdul Fatah Mahar, Eijaz Kakepot, Danish Hydri and others expressed their solidarity on the occasion.
