ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Senator Aitzaz Ahsan on Wednesday said members of “Move on Pakistan” (MOP) party should be arrested and charged with treason.
The PPP leader asked Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali to register a case under Article 6 of the Constitution against the chief of Move on Pakistan party, who are pleading for imposing martial law and forming a government of echnocrats. He said that Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt Gen Asim Bajwa, in a tweet, had istanced Pakistan Army from such a campaign.
The posters, which were also displayed in Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi as well as in some cantonment areas, by “Move on Pakistan,” a largely-unknown political party, reportedly founded in 2013.
