ISLAMABAD: Pakistan tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq and his partner Gilles Muller of Luxembourg have reached in the second round of men’s double event at Wimbledon.
The pair of Aisam and Muller overwhelmed Germany’s Benjamin Becker and Venezuelan Roberto Maytin to win 6-3, 6-3, 6-3, according to a message received here from London on Friday.
They will next take on French 10th seeds Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert for a place in the third round. Aisam will also be contesting in the mixed doubles event where he will partner with Russia’s Vera Dushevina.
