KARACHI: The Lyari Development Authority has finalized the Affordable Public Housing Scheme for construction of about 10,000 single and double story bunglows in Hawksbay comprising modern style construction, strongly built structure, quality finishing and all civic facilities.
This was finalized at a high level meeting held under the chairmanship of Agha Maqsood Abbas, Director General Lyari Development Authority which was attended by senior officers including Sarfaraz Khan, Shahid Hassan, Syed Tasneem Ahmed, Intikhab Alam and S.M.Iqbal.
The meeting also decided that Lyari Development Authority and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Towns Project will participate in an international exhibition being organized by Association of Builders and Developers from 12th – 14th August 2014 at Karachi Expo Center.
The Association of Builders and Developers is organizing the exhibition which is aimed at to provide an exclusive international level platform where companies from abroad will also participate.
The meeting decided that the allottees, who have paid all dues of their plots in Hawksbay Scheme-42 LDA will be given prizes through balloting on the concluding day of exhibition at its stall.
Agha Maqsood Abbas has disclosed that the bunglows would be constructed on modern lines with all latest civic facilities at reasonable prices with the help of experts in the field.
He further disclosed that bunglows will be given to general public on easy installment basis at minimum cost to help solve the residential problems of general public.
Besides, the stall will also be setup by Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Towns Project to abreast the visitors about the development activities being carried out in the SMBBT towns and the concrete steps being taken by the present government to solve the residential problems of general public.
