ISLAMABAD Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Shireen Mazari said on Sunday while responding to State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali that the government itself wants clash among the institutions. She said that Sher Ali should read the constitution to find out upon whom the Article 6 should be applicable.
PTI’s central secretary for information Shireen Mazari said in a statement that Imran Khan has put forth the offer to probe any constituency, adding that Abid Sher Ali should have his mind present before giving challenges.
She said that State Minister terms Sindhis and Pakhtuns electricity thieves, adding that he himself is spreading provincial prejudice.
PTI secretary said that the government itself wants clash among the institutions citing government’s alleged pressure on Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) as example.
She added that Punjab is facing up to 16 hours of electricity load shedding and that Sher Ali should focus on his own job.
Earlier, Abid Sher Ali said that Pakistan PTI chief Imran Khan should be tried under Article 6 of the constitution as he was trying to create rift between the government and Pakistan Army.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Abid Sher Ali said the PTI government should verify thumb impressions of the voters in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
He said some people cannot see Pakistan making progress but no one would be allowed to sabotage the progress, prosperity and peace in the country.
