NEW DELHI: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Saturday accused Bollywood super star Aamir Khan of collaborating with a Pakistani intelligence agency to promote his movie ‘PK’.
According to Indian media, the BJP leader said that he doesn’t give any importance to Aamir Khan’s statements as the latter, he alleged, colloborated with the Pakistani intelligence agency to promote one of his movies.
“Being the brand ambassador of Incredible India campaign him saying that his wife feels insecure in the country, was not right. If she feels insecure, she should leave,” he added.
Swamy is not the only BJP-leader who came out against Aamir Khan, another BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya has given a threatening statement against Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Dangal’, saying his movie deserved to be cured.
“Dangal Me Mangal Karna He,” Indian media quoted Kailash as saying.
In November last year, the Bollywood super star had expressed his concerns over the rising intolerance in India and said his wife felt insecure in the country.
