NAWABSHAH: An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale rocked Nawabshah, Hyderabad, Matyari and adjoining areas on early Friday morning.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the epicenter of the earthquake was located 60 km Northeast from Nawabshah at a depth of 20 kilometers.
People came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses from the Holy Quran. No loss of life was reported due to earthquake till filing of this report.
