JACOBABAD: Firing outside a polling station in Jacobabad has left at least three political workers injured during the first phase of Local Government election in Sindh.
According to details, the firing incident occurred after two political groups indulged into a dispute outside Abdul Razzaq Eesani polling station in Jacobabad’s urban are.
Police has arrested assailants who opened fire, while injured people have been rushed to hospitals for required treatmeent.
Polling in Sindh is being held in Sukkur, Khairpur, Ghotki, Larkana, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore and Qamber districts where nearly 4.6 million people will cast their votes.
