CHITRAL: Three persons died on Tuesday, while thousands of locals and tourists were stranded in different areas of the district as dozens of connective bridges have collapsed due to floods.
According to details, severe downpours in Chitral and adjoining areas have disrupted the normal life as roads connecting different valleys have been completely inundated. Three persons lost their lives as the a bridge they were crossing was suddenly broken.
Roads in Kalash, Bamborait, Garam Chashma and sub-division Mastoj are still closed for all kinds of traffic, while the authorities have declared emergency in the district. Thousands of people are stranded in different affected areas.
