LAHORE: Director General Pakistan Rangers (Punjab), Major General Umar Farooq Burki visited Shakargarh Sector. During his visit he was received by Sector Commander, Brigadier Amjad Hussain. On arrival, the Director General was given a comprehensive briefing on operational, security and training aspects.
The Director General went around forward posts and interacted with jawans, performing their duties. He appreciated their high morale and state of preparedness. While interacting with officers and troops, he reiterated that the valiant jawans of Punjab Rangers will continue working for safer and peaceful Pakistan, may it be the borders or maintaining Internal Security.
The Director General assured that Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) would not shy away from any sacrifice towards fulfillment of its sacred responsibility of defending the motherland in line with the aspirations of people”
