KARACHI: Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat-ul Ebad Khan, Friday congratulated the Sindh Chief Minister-elect Syed Murad Ali Shah on his election.
In a felicitation message, he also wished Syed Murad Ali Shah well on his election as the Leader of the House in Sindh Assembly.
In the session on Friday which was chaired by Speaker Agha Siraj Khan Durrani, Murad Ali Shah secured 88 votes of the total 91 cast.
His opponent, Khurrum Sher Zaman of PTI got three votes. The Governor in his message said that election from the Sindh Assembly would enhance the confidence of Syed Murad Ali Shah.
He said that close cooperation and contact would continue for the progress, development and prosperity in the province.
