HYDERABAD: HESCO has threatened to disconnect 14420 connections of 265 government departments including Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA), Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA), TMOs and other departments for non-payment of bills amounting 30,94,11,55,000.
In this regards the HESCO spokesman, while briefing the media said that 1,75,88,000 amount is remaining on 153 connections of HDA and WASA, 13,7,83,94,000 amount is remaining on 2209 connections of TMOs, 4, 91,98,98,000 amount on 390 connections of Public Health Engineering, 1, 14, 52, 87,000 amount on 369 connections of Sindh Police, 91, 28, 68,000 rupees on 295 connection of Sindh Irrigation and Power, and other departments including Auqaf, Union Councils, Muncipal Committees, Education, Health, Revenue, Forest and jails.
The spokesman said that HESCO Cheif Executive Officer Akhtar Ali Rindwa has issue strict instruction to cut off the power supply lines of all bill defaulters
