KARACHI/JAMSHORO: The Consul General of Switzerland in Karachi, Emil Wyss has said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a vital development and it will provide bright chances of employment for youth of Pakistan.
He expressed these remarks at the Dialogue-2016 of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) organized by IEEE Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Chapter at Jamshoro, on Thursday.
Emil Wyss said that the future of Pakistan was bright and there was the need to promote higher education so that the youth of the country could share their part for the development of the country.
The CPEC was an important project which could provide job opportunities to the youth of the country, he added.
He said that Pakistan possessed rich mineral resources and there was the need to utilize the same for the welfare of the people. The youth of the country would play pivotal role in this direction, he added.
Praising the services of Mehran University, he termed it the one of the best universities of Pakistan and said that the university was playing key role in producing the engineers of high calibre who have ability to meet the challenges of the modern world.
The Vice Chancellor, Mehran University, Prof. Dr Muhammad Aslam Uqaili while speaking on the occasion, highlighted the efforts of the university management for promoting academic and research culture in the institution.
