LAHORE/SARGODHA: Former MNA and Federal Minister, Chaudhary Ghias Ahmed Mela has died of cardiac arrest at the age of 53 in USA.
He was elected as member of National Assembly of Pakistan three times from Sargodha and remained the Senior Vice President of PML-Q.
In 2015, he joined PTI (Pakistan Tehreek Insaf). He obtained his university education from Indiana University, USA and awarded with MBA.
Chaudhary Ghias Ahmed Mela has also served as Chairman Standing Committee for Housing and Works and Federal Minister of State for the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
His dead body will be flown to Pakistan and funeral will be held on Wednesday at Village Mela of Sargodha District.
He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
