16 Ombudsman offices in Sindh equipped with mobile units to provide speedy & inexpensive justice to public at their door step

Provincial Ombudsman Asad Ashraf Malak has said that all 16 regional Ombudsman in Sindh should be equipped with mobile units for providing speedy and inexpensive justice to public at their door steps, provincial ombudsman be conferred same powers of federal ombudsman for implementing on orders, expressed these notions while addressing the Seminar on ” Role of Ombudsman in providing administrative justice to people of Sindh” here at Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto memorial Library Larkan on Wednesday.
Provincial Ombudsman further said that there are some flaws in institution and still not effective enough to deliver right way to common men because of not having similar powers as Federal Ombudsman has, power of filing contempt of court case against the violators.
He informed that 16 regional Ombudsman offices have been set up in different districts of Sindh, efforts are underway to establish 5 more offices in Sindh for addressing the grievances of public, in this regard funds are needed added that this institution is striving hard against irregularities of government run institutions and providing the relief to people.
Asad Ashraf Malak told that objective of arranging seminar was to create awareness and sensitizing the society regarding their rights to combat heinous social evils and redressing public complaints against state functionaries.
He said it is in our top priority to dispense prompt and inexpensive justice to the poor and marginalized people, and enabling them to contribute to social development was a collective responsibility of the state and society. Added that coordination between state and civil society will succeed in attaining objectives of eliminating this aspect should be treated as a national priority, he said.
MNA Muhammad Ayaz Soomro in his speech he said that public have little belief on judiciary system of country, still thousands cases are in pending and decisions taking several decades, it needs to bring reforms in judiciary system.
He admired the role of ombudsman and said that this institution is playing big role for providing relief to common men and disposing off the cases in time which is good sigh.
On the occasion Commissioner Larkana Saeed Ahmed Magnejo, DIG Larkana Sain Rakhio Mirani, founder member PPP Advocate Abdul Razaq Soomro, Deputy Commissioner Larkana Ghanwar Ali Leghari, PPP ladies wing leader Dr Preh Sakina Gaad, Regional Ombudsman Larkana Zulqarnain Abro and others also addressed.

PPP workers hold rallies in Badin

Hundreds of workers of PPP, Youth Wing & Cultural Wing including traders of Badin held a rally in the favor of former home Minister Sindh & senior PPP leader, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Mirza & chanted huge slogans in the favor of their leader.
Earlier, hundreds of workers gathered at DCO Chowk Badin & marched towards Badin Press Club where addressing the huge gathering, Peroz Shahani, Dilbar Sindhi, Allah Bachayo Khan, Khan Sahib Jamali, Rafat Naveed, Tanveer Ahmed Arain & others said that people of Badin have always remained loyal & sincere with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari & Mirza family. People of Badin have always supported & voted in favor of PPP & Mirza family & would make foil the conspiracies against the Mirza family.
On the other hand, supporters of MNA, Sardar Kamal Khan Chang also gathered at Allah Wala Chowk Badin & held a rally in the favor of Sardar Kamal Khan Chang.

District Officer Education, Secondary & Higher secondary Badin, Anwar Din Jamali paid surprise visits of Govt boys high Schools Shadi Large, Govt Boys & girls high school Nindo Shaher, Govt Higher Secondary School Khoski, GGHS Khoski, GHS Lauri Sharif, Kadhan, Seerani & Govt High School Mitho Khan Chandio at Andhalo where he inspected teachers attendance & record & cleanness in the schools. He appreciated the performance of head master of GHS Andhalo, Abdul Sattar Bhurgari & hoped that all others head masters will also show their satisfactory performance.
